Let's Have Fun

GFC will be hosting programs for those 18 and older, beginning in January 2024. Currently scheduled are Let's Get Crafty and Let's Write Now. The programs are FREE and open to the public, for those 18 years old and older. For more info, call 802-463-9927 ext. 208.

Let's Get Crafty

Join us for an afternoon of arts & crafts fun on the second Tuesday, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Parks Place Community Resource Center, at 44 School St. Ext. in Bellows Falls. Each month we’ll have a new craft for you to work on including beading, seasonal items, painting, scrapbooking, and more.

Family Dinners

Join us for Family Dinners on the second Thursday of the month, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Parks Place Community Resource Center (44 School St. Ext., Bellows Falls). Caregivers of children newborn to 12 years old who live in the WNESU school district are welcome to the dinner. (Older siblings may also attend.) Limit of 12 families. RSVP by the first Wednesday of the month at 802-463-9927 or info@greaterfallsconnections.org.

Let's Play

Join us for a morning of fun playing at the Bellows Falls Rec. Center playground for kids age birth to 8 years old on the second and fourth Saturdays from 11 a.m. to Noon. It is a great opportunity to meet other parents and introduce your kids to other kids.

Let's Write Now

Join us for an afternoon of writing on the third Tuesday, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Parks Place Community Resource Center, at 44 School St. Ext. in Bellows Falls. Bring whatever you’re working on - journaling, fiction, poetry, comic, micro fiction, ezine, etc. - and we’ll spend an hour writing and talking about writing in general. There is free Wi-Fi.

Parking

Please use the parking lot off George St. On-street parking is available on George St. and School St. Ext. When you arrive, stop by the front desk to check in with Parks Place staff. The programs will be held on the second floor.

​Transgender Support Groups

SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR APRIL:

4/10 (Second Thursday)

First Thursdays of the month:  free peer support groups for transgender folks. Teens, 13-17, meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and adults, 18+, meet from 6  to 7 p.m. The meetings are held at Parks Place.

LGBTQIA+ Hangout

Join us for a FREE hangout for LGBTQIA+ members, ages 18 and old on the second Saturday of each month .  We meet at Flat Iron Cooperative in Bellows Falls from 2-4pm.

If you've picked up a package of Narcan or Naloxone and don't know how to use it, check out this video with instructions from the Vermont Department of Health.​
