quitSTART: The quitSTART app is a free smartphone app that helps you quit smoking with tailored tips, inspiration, and challenges. You can get ready to quit with tips and information; monitor your progress; get back on track if you slip and smoke; manage cravings; and much more. The app is available on Android and iOS tablets.

Smokitten: The purpose of Smokitten is to help smokers quit cigarettes and raises awareness among youth about the dangers of tobacco. Smokitten and Smokitten Park are available for Android and iOS tablets & smartphones.

  • 802 Quits offers tools to quit smoking and using other tobaccos.

  • Smokefree Teen can help you become—and stay—tobacco free.

  • Sign up with SmokefreeTXT to quit smoking.

  • Try DipfreeTXT to quit using smokeless tobacco.

  • Choose Practice Quit to give quitting a try for a few days.

  • Build your quitting skills with Daily Challenges from SmokeFree.

  • Most youth and young adults don’t vape. If you do and you want to stop, text “VTVapeFree” to 88709 to get help now. The app was created by teens with the Truth Initiative. It sends you texts written by teens who have succeeded in quitting JUUL and other brands.

My Life, My Quit™: A free and confidential service for those ages 13-17 who want to quit all forms of tobacco and vaping. Enroll online or text ‘Start My Quit’ to 36072.

This is Quitting: A free quit-vaping text messaging program is one of the few resources available designed specifically for teens and young adults.

​Transgender Support Groups

Every first Thursday the Greater Rockingham LGBTQIA+ Group offers free peer support groups for transgender folks. Teens, 13-17, meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and adults, 18+, meet from 6  to 7 p.m. The meetings are held at Parks Place. Snacks will be provided. The groups will be led by a transgender staff member.

LGBTQIA+ Hangout

Join us for a FREE hangout for LGBTQIA+ members, ages 18 and old on the second Saturday of each month .  For September and October we invite you to hang out with us as we table at community events,  September 14th we'll be at The Westminster Community Festival.  October 12 we'll be at the Apple Festival in Springfield, VT.
