There is much to learn about substances and how they impact your body and mind, as well as how you can become addicted to them. You'll find some of that information here as well as information about where you can go to get help regardless of your age.

Approaches

GFC identifies stories, strengths, data, and community input to provide us with the information we need to make decisions for the prevention work we undertake and to support the community building that is a key part of the work we do.

Strength-Based Approach - GFC uses a strength-based approach when building our prevention and community building efforts. Starting with community and individual strengths rather than “what’s wrong” can lead to long-term, positive outcomes and affect community-level change.

FDA Vaping Prevention Resources - This site is for educators, parents, and teens.

Green Peak Alliance - GPA offers toolkits, community partner projects and resources for a wide range of topics that educators can use to help teach their students about prevention-related topics.

LGBTQIA+ Hangout

Join us for a FREE hangout for LGBTQIA+ members, ages 18 and old. Stop by Parks Place from 2-4pm on the second Saturday of each month for writing, crafting, reading, gaming, or just hanging out.  More information can be found on Facebook.
